FAMILY DELIGHTS
FAMILY FAVORITES
THE ADVENTURES OF SUPER CELLULAR

We were informed of this game through one of our relatives in Guam. We thought it was a family joke untill we saw the front cover for ourselves. MY SON is on the front shaking those rumba shakers (maracas). All of my family here in California was shocked and wondered how he was on there since. Then my wife remembered, when she was working for a Pulbication Company in Novato… when “Kobe” was 10 months old they took photos of him for greeting cards. The company is closed now due to economic times. So we wondered how they obtained this photo. Kobe is now almost 6 years old and when he saw his photo, he did not seem to care. I have a plan though, when he gets older then I can use this in his wedding slideshow. We have other photos that were supposed to be used in greeting cards…like one where he is bowling and one where he is giving flowers to another baby (like for valentine’s day). We bought the game at ToysRUs and it is good for young kids above 5. Quite a few mini games like green light red light. Oh well…not like the violent games on the other systems but…well it is just a “GAME”. Not really meant for those hard core gaming type of people but maybe like the ones who like the bowling one for Wii. Thank You Steph for letting us know he was on the cover. =)

I bought a Wii last month along with Wii Fit, I know it’s hard to find, and I got both!!! Don’t hate me for it :). Well, my 16 mo old is too young for Wii Fit. She likes crawling, and eating, the Wii Fit board, but can’t really play any of the game. Mommy is using it to shake off that baby weight! We invited all her baby buddies over and they all had a blast with Imagine Party Babyz. I know what you’re thinking, how can you put a game with improper spelling in front of an impressionable youth? Well, our baby won’t be reading for a while, so I think it’s OK.
I’ll ask you one parting question, can you Imagine all the fun you’ll have with Imagine Party Babyz? Our little one was dancing, screaming, and shaking maracas just like on the cover. We love it! Can’t wait for Imagine Party Toddlerz.

When I first added Party Babyz to my Gamefly queue, I figured it was just your regular old run-of-the-mill party/baby game, but it’s not! I’ve played party games before, baby games, and party/baby games, but none can compete with the likes of Party Babyz. Upon arrival, I took a good hard look at the cover – pleasantly surprised to find the babyz having an exciting party even without me. Maracas in hand, diapers clean, and some foot stomping made me realize this isn’t your ordinary party baby game. Once loaded, gameplay was seamless. Four babies, count them – one, two, three, four – to adventure with. It’s true that all babies look the same, but Imagine does a good job of differentiating them with haloed colors of light – blue, purple, red, and orange. Furthermore, each baby carries a unique weapon – sword, staff, twin sais, and nunchucks. I found dynamics between the babyz was great with each baby having their own unique strengths and weaknesses. However, the fourth baby (orange one), seemed to have an unusual eating disorder and kept asking for pizza (when this happens, make sure your SIM orders a pizza! Bagel bites will not cut it!) Overall, I found the game to be very challenging and enjoyable.

My[...] daughter enjoys this game, we can play together, and after I read instructions & show her, she is able to play on her own. Cute. The sounds they chose, can get annoying, (just lower the volume.) She enjoys changing the babies outfits & winning new costumes. Simple concepts for mini games, feeding baby, throwing snowballs, coloring. Perfect for the younger WII gamers!
